Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luka Jelavic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Aldean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jelavic comes to the cage accompanied by VocaPeople - Acapella Group. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Aldean was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelavic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aldean sprawls well initially but Jelavic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jelavic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aldean with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jelavic connects with a nice short shot to Aldean's temple.
Aldean is still in real trouble! Can Jelavic finish him?
Jelavic lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Aldean quite badly. Aldean pulls Jelavic in close trying to recover. Jelavic postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Aldean on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Aldean doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luka Jelavic!
