The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzeneg lands with a nice combination. James backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Cesar James has been cut.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
James misses with an attempted mid kick.
Schwarzeneg walks into a straight right hand from James.
James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schwarzeneg sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Schwarzeneg finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
James stuffs the takedown.
James misses with a few strikes there.
James throws a shot from downtown. Schwarzeneg moves away and avoids it.
James tries to bum rush Schwarzeneg with a series of wild strikes but Schwarzeneg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Schwarzeneg rushes James and presses him up against the cage.
Schwarzeneg blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Schwarzeneg pulls James into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Schwarzeneg wriggles free and stands up.
James throws a lazy right hand but Schwarzeneg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Schwarzeneg gets a clinch.
James lands a body shot.

Schwarzeneg decides to pull guard.
Schwarzeneg looking for a sweep. Not yet Schwarzeneg, not yet.
Schwarzeneg with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing James can't handle though.
James trying to stand up but can't free himself from Schwarzeneg's guard.
Schwarzeneg striking off his back but it's not causing James any problems.
James takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Schwarzeneg has his hands on James's head, controlling the position.

Schwarzeneg pushes a forearm under James's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, James is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
