The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Punch takes the fight into the clinch.
MacMillen is trying to push Punch away but Punch has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
MacMillen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Punch lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

MacMillen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MacMillen throws an overhand right that lands on Punch's shoulder, as Punch tries to avoid the shot.
Punch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Decent striking displayed by MacMillen there.
MacMillen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Anavar Punch has been cut.
Punch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from MacMillen.
Punch throws a body punch but MacMillen moves out of range.
Anavar Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punch is looking to slow MacMillen down with leg kicks.

Punch pushes MacMillen back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Punch manages to break the clinch.
Punch fakes a jab and throws a low kick but MacMillen checks it well.
MacMillen lands with an overhand left.
MacMillen throws a big shot that misses.
Punch tries to close the distance and clinch up but MacMillen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Punch throws a lazy uppercut
and MacMillen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
MacMillen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MacMillen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Punch.
MacMillen cracks a nice hook into Punch's ribs.
Punch wants to slow MacMillen down by chopping away at his legs.
MacMillen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
MacMillen lands a slapping body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
MacMillen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Punch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
MacMillen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
MacMillen throws a lazy right hand but Punch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Punch lands a jab to the head.
MacMillen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Punch tries a low kick but MacMillen avoids it.
Punch getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Punch motions for MacMillen to come forward. Punch throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
MacMillen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Punch cracks a nice hook into MacMillen's ribs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A swing and a miss from Punch.
MacMillen thows a body shot but no joy.
Punch tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and MacMillen is able to avoid easily.
Punch moves out of range as MacMillen strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Punch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Punch moves in looking to clinch but MacMillen pushes him off.

MacMillen looks for the body kick but Punch saw that one coming.
MacMillen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Punch is out of range.
Punch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
MacMillen keeps the fight on the outside.
MacMillen throws a lazy right hand but Punch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
John MacMillen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Punch tries to clinch but MacMillen moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Punch. That's going to slow MacMillen down.
MacMillen misses with an uppercut. Punch saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Punch. MacMillen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Punch throws a body punch but MacMillen moves out of range.
Punch tries to close the distance and clinch up but MacMillen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
MacMillen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
MacMillen scores with a jab.

Punch is rocked!
MacMillen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oh Punch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
MacMillen cracks Punch with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
