Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Namiska Button (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Neck's choice of entrance music: Deep Purple - Bad Attitude. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Namiska Button !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pencil Neck!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Button 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Neck under the eye.

Neck closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Button quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Button looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Neck is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Button looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Neck scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Button on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

You can see the frustration on Button 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Neck is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Button has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Neck is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Button up.

Neck is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Button knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Button for a finish.

Neck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neck throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Neck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Button doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Button manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Button drops back, looking for a kneebar! Neck looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Neck looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Neck!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Button is trying to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Neck is chipping away with strikes.
Neck is looking to take a break and control but Button is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A lull in the action here.
Button looks to move to half guard but instead Neck has passed into mount! Damn!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Button is in all sorts of trouble here.
Button bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Button throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Neck works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Button changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Neck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Button working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Button goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Neck has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Button but great work by Neck.
Pencil Neck has got the better of the ground game so far.
Neck wants to control but Button is keeping him busy.

Neck decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Neck fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Button sprawls well initially but Neck persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Neck postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Button looks a forlorn figure.

Button has his foot on Neck's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neck works his way back into a safe position though.

Pencil Neck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Button 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!



Button closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Button landing knees to the head.

Neck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Button takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Button shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Neck is trying to defend but Button finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Button is looking for a kimura but Neck is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Button to get the leverage.

Neck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Button gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Button throws an elbow that misses. Neck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Button 's guard. Nice move by Neck!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Neck seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Button does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neck is pushing down on Button 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Button is fighting to maintain full guard but Neck has managed to sneak the leg through.

I would just about give that final round to Pencil Neck.
I've got Neck winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
