The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Lukashenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lukashenko was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lukashenko is looking to stand back up but Jackson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lukashenko.

Jackson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Lukashenko.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lukashenko goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lukashenko throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Alexander Lukashenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lukashenko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Good leg kick by Lukashenko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Lukashenko looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Lukashenko backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Jackson's temple! It sends Jackson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Lukashenko celebrates and the doctors try to help Jackson!
