Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kon Sai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Pattinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Made In Thailand. Pattinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blue (Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 3, fighting out of Helsinki, Edward Pattinson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pattinson instigates a clinch.

Pattinson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Sai shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pattinson as he avoids it easily.

Sai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pattinson walks away with a smile on his face. Sai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kon Sai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pattinson misses with a low kick as Sai jumps back.
Sai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pattinson goes for a double leg but Sai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sai continues to drive forward.

That was a close round but I would say that Kon Sai will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Sai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pattinson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sai somewhat.

Pattinson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sai is looking for a sweep. Pattinson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
