Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guybrush Threepwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by SURF RIDER!!!. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

With a record of 30 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankestein Mir!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Guybrush Threepwood!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Threepwood tries to clinch up but Mir circles away and keeps his distance.
Mir getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mir misses with a takedown

and Threepwood counters by clinching up.
Mir tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A body shot lands from Mir.
Threepwood throws a punch but it's blocked by Mir.
Threepwood working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Threepwood tries a knee to the head but Mir blocks it.
Threepwood connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mir's face.

Mir is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Threepwood doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mir.

Mir wants to pass the guard but Threepwood is defending well.
Mir takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Threepwood moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mir is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Threepwood is surviving well by controlling Mir's body position as best he can.

Mir is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Threepwood has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mir looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Threepwood wants to hold on but Mir pushes him away.
Mir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mir is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Threepwood to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Threepwood shrugs it off.

Mir is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Threepwood can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Threepwood is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Threepwood tries to hold on but Mir postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frankestein Mir dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Mir counters with a low kick, right behind Threepwood 's knee.

Mir has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Threepwood is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mir just misses with a elbow thrown towards Threepwood's brow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Mir drives through and clinches with Threepwood against the cage.

Threepwood creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Threepwood using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mir has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Mir turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Mir wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Threepwood, who protects the arm well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Frankestein Mir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mir tries to advance to mount but Threepwood denies him.
Threepwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Threepwood is trying to get back to half guard.
Mir misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mir looks up at the clock and then as Threepwood takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mir smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mir connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Threepwood some visible discomfort.
Threepwood takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mir is trying to get an arm triangle but Threepwood is defending well.
Mir works to advance to full mount. Threepwood defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Threepwood is looking to improve his position but Mir isn't that keen on the idea.

Mir connects with a bit shot that sees Threepwood covering up! More strikes from Mir and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mir is our winner by TKO!

Frankestein Mir gave a mention to Conquer in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
