The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gold feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jamess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kyell Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gold has time to react.

James fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gold sprawls well initially but James persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
