Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasva Jorma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorma has chosen Captain Awesome's Theme Song as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a jab when Jorma was well out of range.
A big right from Silva misses.
Jorma has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A head kick by Silva misses
and Jorma counters with a nice uppercut.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jorma lands with a short shot to the head.
Silva throws a head punch that misses.
Jorma has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jorma goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jorma.

Silva is struggling to control the position.

I was talking to Silva's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jorma lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

and Jorma counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Rasva Jorma is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jorma ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jorma lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Jorma throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jorma pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Silva back to the cage. Jorma follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jorma is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Silva rather than just go for the knockout.

Jorma rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
Jorma wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.

Silva moves out of range as Jorma strikes.

Silva goes for a double leg but Jorma avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jorma continues to drive forward.

Jorma tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Jorma drops back down to his feet.

Jorma has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Jorma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Silva closes the distance and pushes Jorma back into the cage.
Jorma tries to pull guard but Silva forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Silva lands with a light punch inside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jorma is trying to break the clinch but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Jorma lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jorma tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva wants to clinch but Jorma slips to the side
and Jorma counters with a stiff right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Jorma does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jorma looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva cracks Jorma with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jorma swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jorma looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Jorma.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jorma cracks a nice hook into Silva's ribs.
Silva misses with a straight right.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jorma was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Silva dives in and grabs Jorma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jorma pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jorma counters with a straight right hand.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva slips under a jab.

Jorma rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Silva is trying to break the clinch but Jorma has him pressed against the cage.

Jorma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jorma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jorma lands a jab to the head.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Jorma sprawls well.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Jorma is just out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Jorma there.

Silva is rocked!
Rasva Jorma seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jorma feints a jab and as Silva dips his head, Jorma unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Silva right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Silva falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Jorma smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rasva Jorma!
As Rasva Jorma got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Another awesome victory for captain Awesome!'.
