Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simba Burns Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mica Makaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Thuggish Ruggish Bone. Makaaja has chosen BassLovers United - I Can't Dance as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Burns Jr. No joy for Makaaja on that attempt.
Makaaja shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burns Jr sprawls well. Burns Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Makaaja gets slowly back to his feet.
Burns Jr fakes the leg kick and cracks Makaaja in the body.
Makaaja moves out of range of the body kick.
Burns Jr looks for the body kick but Makaaja saw that one coming.
Burns Jr looks to land a right hand but Makaaja moved out of range.
Makaaja steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Burns Jr. That one must have hurt.

Burns Jr clinches with his opponent.

Burns Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Makaaja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burns Jr as he avoids it easily.
Simba Burns Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mica Makaaja.
Makaaja takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Mica Makaaja has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Makaaja shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Makaaja changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burns Jr tries to avoid it but Makaaja manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burns Jr to the ground. Burns Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Makaaja shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burns Jr but Burns Jr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Burns Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Makaaja swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Burns Jr drives through and clinches with Makaaja against the cage.
Burns Jr lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Burns Jr instigates a clinch.

Burns Jr scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Burns Jr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Burns Jr throws a head punch that misses.

Burns Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Burns Jr has closed the distance and engaged Makaaja in a clinch.

Makaaja walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Burns Jr shoots in but no luck this time.
Burns Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Makaaja pinned against the cage. Makaaja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Makaaja takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Burns Jr rushes Makaaja and presses him up against the cage.

Burns Jr manages to break the clinch.
Burns Jr misses with a kick to the body.
Burns Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Burns Jr throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Burns Jr moves to clinch but Makaaja breaks away

and Makaaja counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Burns Jr is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Burns Jr wants to control but Makaaja postures up.
Burns Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Makaaja's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Makaaja seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Burns Jr is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
