PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fabolous Fjodor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raijin Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fjodor comes to the cage accompanied by Era - Enea Vollare Mezzo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjodor moves out of range of the strikes.
Kage connects with a high kick.
Kage shoots in for a double leg but Fjodor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kage throws a sloppy head kick
and Fjodor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Raijin Kage has been cut.
Fjodor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kage moves away.

Fjodor closes the distance and pushes Kage back into the cage.
Fjodor lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fjodor goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fjodor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kage is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fjodor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fjodor has escaped and now he's on top!

Kage is staying active underneath Fjodor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
