Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jomhod Kiatadisak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canthropus has chosen Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canthropus swinging wildly here.
Kiatadisak tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Canthropus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kiatadisak won't be happy with that.
Canthropus fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kiatadisak wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Canthropus creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kiatadisak sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Canthropus prevents Kiatadisak from escaping the position.
Kiatadisak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kiatadisak tries to get out of the position.

You get the feeling that Kiatadisak really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Canthropus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kiatadisak can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kiatadisak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Canthropus on the ground.

Kiatadisak defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Canthropus's arms.
Kiatadisak is trying to remain composed but Canthropus is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Canthropus looking to break Kiatadisak's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kiatadisak remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Canthropus will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Kiatadisak is trying to get back to his feet but Canthropus has full control of the position and if anything, Kiatadisak has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Canthropus throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kiatadisak!

Pithe Canthropus really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that DTK Designs (Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
