Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks / Retaliation . The crowd seem to be enjoying Masaru's choice of entrance music: The Naked And Famous - Young Blood. George Kelly could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Takeru Masaru's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kelly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Masaru wants to clinch up but Kelly keeps it at a distance.
Masaru gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kelly counters with an inside leg kick.
Masaru circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kelly moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Masaru connects with a leg kick. Kelly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Masaru scoring well with a low kick there.
Masaru takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Masaru blocks a head kick by Kelly.

Masaru throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Masaru postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kelly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Masaru, into his guard.

Masaru has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kelly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Masaru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kelly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Masaru is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kelly pulls his head out easily.
Kelly wants to stand up but Masaru has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Kelly stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kelly misses with a leg kick.

A close round but Takeru Masaru will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kelly lets loose with a powerful body kick. Masaru will feel that in the morning.
Masaru shoots in for a takedown but Kelly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Some wild striking there from Kelly.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kelly.
Kelly throws a leg kick but Masaru moved away.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Masaru moved out of range nicely.
Masaru shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kelly but Kelly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kelly throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Masaru throws a jab but it's blocked by Kelly.
Masaru closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelly circles away.
George Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeru Masaru.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.
Masaru takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Masaru fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Kelly is looking to clinch.
Kelly takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Masaru tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.
Masaru blocks a jab.
Masaru shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kelly defends it nicely.

Kelly misses with a head kick.
Masaru shoots in looking for a takedown but Kelly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Masaru's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kelly tries a low kick but Masaru avoids it.
Masaru looks to score with a jab to the body but Kelly is just out of range.
Masaru tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kelly tries to land a knee to the head but Masaru blocks with his arms.

A head punch on the inside from Masaru fails to land.
Masaru is trying to force a seperation but Kelly has the dominant position.

Kelly connects with a nasty looking knee right to Masaru's face.
Kelly lands a shoulder strike.
Kelly with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Masaru tries a body shot but Kelly blocks it.

Kelly scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kelly swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Masaru has a couple of punches blocked by Kelly.
Masaru tries to circle away but Kelly has him pinned against the cage.
Masaru wants a takedown but no success here.
Kelly misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kelly with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kelly is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Masaru is defending well for now.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Masaru drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Masaru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kelly checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Masaru swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kelly misses with an attempted mid kick.
Masaru on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kelly. Kelly obviously looking to wear him down.
Masaru misses with a looping right.
Masaru takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Masaru is rocked!

It looks like Takeru Masaru has been cut.

Kelly scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Masaru is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly throws a powerful right kick. Masaru tried to block low but the kick was high! Masaru was taken right off of his feet! Kelly jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
