Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gideon Abieezer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Onizuka comes to the ring accompanied by Dirt Nasty - Pussy Too Hot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gideon Abieezer!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abieezer with a poor takedown
letting Onizuka counter with a right hand.
Abieezer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Onizuka swivels and escapes.
Onizuka dives in and grabs Abieezer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Abieezer pushes down on Onizuka's head and hops out.
Abieezer misses with a takedown
and Onizuka counters with a nice uppercut.
Shinichi Onizuka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gideon Abieezer.
Onizuka doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Abieezer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Onizuka won't be happy with that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Onizuka gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Onizuka is desperately trying to improve his position but Abieezer has a good base and remains in mount.

Abieezer wants to finish this one by submission but Onizuka is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Abieezer.

Onizuka's coaches at Lawson MMA (UK) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Abieezer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Onizuka is trying to control but can't.

Onizuka has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Abieezer. Oh but Onizuka has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Abieezer goes limp - he's gone! Onizuka jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

A less than humble Shinichi Onizuka misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
