Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nathan Silver!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws a head kick that misses.
Silver stuns Clay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clay manages to avoid it.
Clay throws an off balance right hand
and Clay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silver connects with a body shot that sends Clay's belly button to the back.

Clay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silver to the mat! Silver manages to get full guard.
Clay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Clay pushing down on Silver's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Clay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silver does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, if Clay is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silver has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silver can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Clay uses his free foot to push down on Silver's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silver.

Clay lands a couple of good shots and Silver has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Clay is working the ground and pound. Can Silver escape?

Clay has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Silver is in real trouble here. Clay gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Silver is tapping out! Clay wins by rear naked choke!
