Fossmo has chosen Helge Fossmo predikar as his entrance music. Helge Fossmo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Helge Fossmo!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steigelmann feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fossmos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Steigelmann scores with a spinning back kick!
Steigelmann fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fossmo.
Steigelmann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fossmo slips a straight right by Steigelmann.
Steigelmann moves out of range of the strikes.
Steigelmann throws a body kick that misses.
The fighters circling - Steigelmann throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fossmo.
Fossmo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steigelmann.
Steigelmann cracks Fossmo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Steigelmann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steigelmann missing with a left hand there. Fossmo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Fossmo drives through with a takedown into Steigelmann's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fossmo throws an elbow that misses. Steigelmann uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fossmo's guard. Nice move by Steigelmann!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fossmo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Steigelmann slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Fossmo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steigelmann defends it easily.

Fossmo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Steigelmann frees his head nicely. Oh but Fossmo has switched to an armbar! Steigelmann is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
