Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Katsu Higashikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabrera has chosen Tarot - I Walk Forever as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Katsu Higashikuni has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Katsu Higashikuni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hector Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higashikuni misses with a leg kick
and Cabrera counters with a nice low kick that buckles Higashikuni's knee momentarily.
Cabrera takes a swing at Higashikuni's ribcage but misses.
Cabrera bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Higashikuni's head backwards.
Higashikuni is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cabrera.
Cabrera with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Higashikuni throws a sloppy head kick and Cabrera moves out of range easily.
Higashikuni has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cabrera finds it's way round the side to connect with Higashikuni's head.
Higashikuni scores with a nice right hand.
Higashikuni swings for the body but Cabrera moves out of range.
Cabrera works the jab nicely.
Higashikuni looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cabrera throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Higashikuni throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cabrera ducks under a wild hook from Higashikuni.

Cabrera moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Higashikuni on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cabrera misses with a low kick.

Higashikuni shoots in and gets a takedown into Cabrera's guard.

Cabrera looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Higashikuni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cabrera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Higashikuni has managed to get both his arms back between Cabrera's legs - danger averted.
Cabrera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Higashikuni lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Higashikuni trying to control but Cabrera is working from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cabrera is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Higashikuni's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Higashikuni's back!

Cabrera lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Higashikuni.

Higashikuni tries to escape but Cabrera has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Higashikuni breaks Cabrera's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Cabrera lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Higashikuni!

Cabrera lands a couple of good shots and Higashikuni has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Will Cabrera go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Cabrera has the hooks in. Higashikuni is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Cabrera lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Higashikuni hold on?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oh Higashikuni is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cabrera lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cabrera drops Higashikuni with a naaaaasty hook - Higashikuni is in real trouble here! Cabrera dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Cabrera!
Hector Cabrera spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
