Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rose is trying to control the position but Bova postures up.

Rose feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bovas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Bova cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bova keeps the fight on the outside.
Bova throws a low kick but Rose avoids it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rose.
Bova takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bova scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and Bova counters with a low kick, right behind Rose 's knee.
Rose is breathing heavily.

Nice takedown defense from Rose. No joy for Bova on that attempt.
Bova shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rose defends it nicely.
