Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stringer Bell!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with an uppercut
and Bell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

James is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bell's corner is telling him to maintain position.
James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from James's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Bell is retaining full guard.

James tries to move into range but Bell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
James James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James misses with a head kick.
Bell scores with a jab to the jaw.

and James counters by moving into the clinch.

James drags the fight down to the ground.
Bell looking to pass the guard.

James wants to sweep but no luck.
James is trying to control the position but Bell postures up.
Bell lands a couple of digs.
James lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bell!
James throws some wild stikes that Bell manages to avoid easily.
James thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
James lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bell hang on?
James landing punches.
Bell is in a horrible position here. James smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.


Bell is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bell is still in real trouble! Can James finish him?
James lands a big shot to the head and Bell winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
