Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daedalus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Spartacus Soundtrack. Redfield has chosen Believers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield scores with a hook to the body. Daedalus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Redfield shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daedalus pinned against the cage. Daedalus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Daedalus misses with a wild body shot.

We've been hearing reports that Daedalus has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Daedalus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Redfield has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round but I would say that Quintus Daedalus will probably get the nod.

Daedalus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Redfield did well to prevent Daedalus getting side control.
Quintus Daedalus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Daedalus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Redfield with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daedalus connects with a nice short shot to Redfield's temple.
