Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zackary Finyard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Matice Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finyard comes to the cage accompanied by Everlast - What Its Like. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finyard scores with a decent looking hook.
Finyard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Finyard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Matice Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Finyard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Matice Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Finyard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Matice Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Finyard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Matice Jr.

Matice Jr moves in looking to clinch but Finyard pushes him off.
Finyard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Matice Jr doesn't seem bothered though.

Finyard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matice Jr moves away.

Matice Jr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Finyard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Matice Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Finyard, looking for a takedown. Matice Jr pushes Finyard against the cage but Finyard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matice Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Finyard defends it nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Matice Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finyard pinned against the cage. Finyard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Finyard takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Finyard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matice Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
