Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarred Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rude's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gunslinger. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarred Rose!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rose finds it's way round the side to connect with Rude's head.

Rude gets tackled into the cage by Rose. Rose maintains the clinch.
Rose is trying to break the clinch but Rude is controlling him.
Rose is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rude pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Rude there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A swing and a miss from Rude.
Rose shoots in but no luck this time.
Rude dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rude misses with the combination.
Rude lands with a straight right. Rose didn't see that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rude drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rose has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Rose is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Rose is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rude is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Rude is stalling here. Rose is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rude seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rose has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rose wants to stand but Rude is controlling his arm.
Rude manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose is trying to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rude in particular looking to stall.

Rose is looking to improve his position.
Rose won't allow Rude to pass to mount.

We're going to have a standup here because Dominic Rude wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Rude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rude fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rose manages to avoid it.
Dominic Rude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rose shoots in and drives through. Rude sprawls well.
Dominic Rude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarred Rose.

Rude shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rose napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rude wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rose keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rude controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rose is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rude off and has taken his back!

Rose is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Rude is tapping out! This one is all over!
