Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Nicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicks has chosen Money by i fight dragons as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 63 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hakeem Nicks!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei moves in looking to clinch but Nicks pushes him off.
Nicks darts in looking for a takedown but Lei gets double underhooks and turns Nicks into the cage.
Nicks tries to pull guard but Lei forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Nicks has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lei is trying to keep an underhook but Nicks manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Nicks looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lei is trying to stand up here but Nicks is controlling him well.
Nicks controlling the pace.
Lei wants to get back to his feet.

Lei has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nicks is on him like a limpet, forcing Lei back against the cage.

Lei's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lei lands a big head kick that sends Nicks tumbling to the mat! Lei takes a step backwards and waves Nicks back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nicks is rocked!

It looks like Hakeem Nicks has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lei moves into the clinch.
Nicks is still on wobbly legs! Can Lei finish him?

Lei breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lei connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nicks - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
