Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Roberto Carneiro!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Handle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Handle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Carneiro defending well though.

Handle is trying to work for a kimura but Carneiro is defending well.
Carneiro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carneiro tries to roll over but Handle keeps him under control.
Handle could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Handle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Carneiro is looking to improve his position.
Handle thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Carneiro looking for submissions off his back.

Carneiro gets back to full guard.
Handle throws a strike but Carneiro rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Handle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carneiro on the ground.

Handle is working an open guard so Carneiro takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Handle misses with a double jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carneiro.
Carneiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Handle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carneiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Handle throws a right and a left that Carneiro avoids nicely.

Handle throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carneiro is defended easily by Handle.
Handle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Handle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Handle fails to land the takedown.
Handle is breathing heavily.
Carneiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Handle tries to avoid it but Carneiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Handle to the ground. Handle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Handle shoots in for a takedown but Carneiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Handle moves out of range of the body kick from Carneiro.
Carneiro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Handle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carneiro just misses with a punch to the body.

Handle throws a series of punches but Carneiro avoids them all with ease.
Carneiro moves to clinch but Handle breaks away

and Handle counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Carneiro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Handle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Max Handle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Carneiro.
Carneiro is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Handle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carneiro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Handle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Max Handle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Handle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Carneiro content to stall in guard here.

Carneiro gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carneiro tries to clinch but Handle moves out of range.

Carneiro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Carneiro in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Handle is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
