Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boy Bubby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Corll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corll has chosen South Texas Death Ride as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bubby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bubby showed some decent athleticism there.
Bubby thows a huge punch but Corll dodges it nicely.
Corll wants to get back to full guard but Bubby has passed into side control.
Bubby throws an elbow but Corll slips to the side and avoids it well.
Corll is not content to let Bubby control the position.
Bubby has control of an arm but Corll manages to advance to Bubby's back!

Bubby throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Corll tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bubby is in Corll's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Corll is on top in guard.

Corll must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bubby throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Corll on the side of the head.

Corll's coach down at Supremacy of Self- Pit Inc. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Corll's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bubby lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

That was a close round but I would say that Boy Bubby will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Corll feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bubbys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bubby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Corll connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bubby scrambles back to his feet.

Bubby is looking to wear down Corll with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bubby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Corll moves away.
Bubby thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Corll if he has to take too many more of those.

Bubby walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Corll does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bubby moves into range and connects with a jab.

Bubby looks for a takedown but Corll sprawls well.

Good leg kick by Bubby there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Corll lands a big head kick that sends Bubby tumbling to the mat! Corll takes a step backwards and waves Bubby back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bubby looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Corll with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Corll can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bubby controls the pace.
