Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Karhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karhula throws out the jab.
Boulks uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Karhula.
Karhula scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Karhula uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boulks has time to react.

Karhula fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boulks manages to avoid it.
Boulks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Karhula's corner calls for a 1-2. Karhula obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Boulks takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Boulks has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Karhula pushes Boulks off looking to stand but Boulks dives back in and keeps control.

Karhula felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Boulks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Karhula with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karhula can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Karhula cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

After the fight, Tero Karhula was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
