Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Munch!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Li to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Li drops back looking for a leg! Munch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Munch manages to kick Li off! Li jumps back into Munch's guard.
Li drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Munch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Li has Munch in his guard.
Li keeping moving, preventing Munch from controlling successfully.
Munch has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Li to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Munch is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Li pulls down on the head and he's put Munch to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). John Li!
