Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Berto Kin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Belizariusz Bizantyjski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kin comes into the arena with Drowning Pool feat Rob Zombie- The Man Without Fear blaring out of the sound system. Bizantyjski has chosen Disturbed- Liberate as his entrance music. Belizariusz Bizantyjski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bizantyjski counters with a shoot takedown. Kin fights it but they end up in guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kin lands a head kick!

Kin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bizantyjski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bizantyjski has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kin throws a right hand that Bizantyjski ducks under and follows up with a left that Bizantyjski also avoids with ease.
Kin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kin throws a series of punches but Bizantyjski moves out of range.
Kin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bizantyjski takes a step back to recover.
Kin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bizantyjski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bizantyjski blocks a low kick nicely.
Kin tries to bum rush Bizantyjski with a series of wild strikes but Bizantyjski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kin pushes Bizantyjski off looking to stand but Bizantyjski dives back in and keeps control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bizantyjski in particular looking to stall.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bizantyjski is looking to advance position but Kin won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bizantyjski is out of range and Kin settles back down.

Kin throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bizantyjski counters with a single leg into guard. Kin didn't expect that.
Bizantyjski passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kin wants to get back to his feet.

Kin throws a combination that misses

and Bizantyjski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kin won't be happy with that.
Bizantyjski is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kin's shoulder. That is not cool.
Belizariusz Bizantyjski has got the better of the ground game so far.
Let's hope that Bizantyjski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Kin pushes Bizantyjski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bizantyjski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bizantyjski is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bizantyjski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Berto Kin.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
