Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Superman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've been hearing reports that Maddox has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mathers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mathers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
