The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leissner connects with a looping right hand.
Fury takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fury dives in for a single leg takedown but Leissner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fury jumps guard but Leissner turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fury is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Leissner to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Leissner.
Fury is trying to pull guard but Leissner has him pressed against the cage.
Leissner scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fury tries to pull guard but Leissner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Leissner lands with a right to the head.
Leissner lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fury backwards.
Leissner lands a body shot in the clinch.

Fury tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Leissner smiles and moves away.
Fury takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Leissner stuffs the takedown.
Leissner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Leissner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fury's half guard.
Fury might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Leissner is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Fury is rocked!

Leissner decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Fury shoots in and drives through. Leissner sprawls well.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leissner, right into the meat.

Leissner shoots in and bounces Fury off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leissner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leissner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Leissner connects with a couple of short punches.

Fury is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leissner is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Leissner's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Leissner won't allow Fury to sweep him here.
Fury has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Leissner has passed into side control.
Fury sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Leissner not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Leissner tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fury controls his leg.
Fury works his way to full guard. Good work.

Fury has his foot on Leissner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leissner works his way back into a safe position though.

Fury isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Leissner stacks Fury on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Leissner!
Fury is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leissner off and has taken his back!

Leissner manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fury's guard. Nice work there by Leissner.

Fury is working to avoid the ground and pound but Leissner connects with a decent elbow.
Fury is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Leissner's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Leissner stands up and we're back to a striking position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fury tries for a takedown but Leissner circles away easily
letting Leissner counter with a right hand.
A jab from Leissner does it's job there.
Leissner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fury's sensitive parts.
Fury shoots and misses
and Leissner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Leissner is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Leissner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oh Fury is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fury wants to get back to full guard but Leissner has passed into side control.
Leissner lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leissner landing strikes.
Leissner lands a strong strike to the head of Fury. That's dazed him! Leissner looking to finish here. Fury is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Leissner lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
