Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Avro Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Trejo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Trejo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster fails to land the takedown.

Lancaster throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trejo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lancaster is in Trejo's guard.

We've been hearing that Lancaster has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Trejo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lancaster can't fight it off and eventually Trejo manages to take the fight to the floor. Lancaster looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Trejo is trying to get back to his feet but Lancaster has full control of the position and if anything, Trejo has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Trejo counters with a good, hard body kick but Lancaster shrugs it off.

Trejo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Trejo tries to close the distance and clinch but Lancaster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Trejo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lancaster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Avro Lancaster.
I think Trejo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
