The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Moreno or perhaps it was just good defense by Mutant which made him look bad.
Mutant slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Moreno fails to land the takedown.

Mutant looks to land a combination. Moreno sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Burer Mutant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mutant creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mutant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Moreno tries to stall but Mutant uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mutant keeps control of Moreno as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mutant is pressed up against the cage. Moreno has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mutant down to the mat. Mutant avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Moreno definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Moreno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
