Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingdown comes into the arena with Baggy Trousers blaring out of the sound system. Koltun has chosen Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Konrad Koltun!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Koltun on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dingdown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Koltun misses with a straight right.
Koltun takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Koltun shoots in for a takedown but Dingdown shows good takedown defense.
Koltun waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dingdown.

Koltun moves into the clinch successfully.
Dingdown doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Koltun prevents a body shot from Dingdown.

Koltun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Koltun has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Koltun bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dingdown's head backwards.
Dingdown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Koltun has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dingdown darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dingdown ducks right into an uppercut from Koltun.
Koltun cracks Dingdown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Koltun rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dingdown counters with a nice leg kick.
Koltun lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice uppercut lands for Dingdown. That snapped Koltun's head back.

Ben Dingdown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dingdown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dingdown lands a nice hook to Koltun's body. Koltun takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Koltun doesn't manage to clinch there - Dingdown circles away.
Dingdown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Koltun shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dingdown defends it nicely.

Dingdown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koltun sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Koltun throws a big shot that misses.

A slapping leg kick lands for Koltun.
Dingdown swings away with a body shot that misses
and Koltun counters with a big head kick but Dingdown shrugs it off.
Dingdown goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Koltun shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dingdown is trying to defend but Koltun finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Koltun frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koltun avoids the attempt from Dingdown to control.

Koltun is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dingdown can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A close round but Konrad Koltun will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Koltun goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Koltun fails with the takedown.
Koltun misses with a wild body shot.
Dingdown loads up on a big right hand but Koltun slips the punch.
Dingdown lands with a shot to the body.
Koltun scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Koltun connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dingdown. Dingdown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Koltun tries to close the distance and clinch but Dingdown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dingdown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Koltun doesn't seem bothered though.
Koltun throws the kick towards the body but Dingdown avoids it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dingdown tries a head kick but it misses.

Koltun loads up on a big right hand but Dingdown slips the punch.

and Koltun counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dingdown's guard now.
Koltun stands and throws Dingdown's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dingdown manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Koltun shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dingdown sprawls well. Dingdown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Koltun gets slowly back to his feet.

and Koltun counters with a thumping low kick.
Dingdown tries to clinch up but Koltun circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters circle momentarily. Koltun darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Koltun moves out of range as Dingdown strikes.

Konrad Koltun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dingdown looks to throw the jab but Koltun is out of range.
Dingdown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Koltun.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Koltun closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dingdown's guard.

Koltun postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dingdown wants to stand but Koltun is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dingdown throws a strike but Koltun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Koltun avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Koltun slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

And that's the end of the fight!
Konrad Koltun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Koltun winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
