The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine doesn't manage to clinch there - Hanson circles away.
Hanson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hanson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rock Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Rock Machine has been cut.
Machine scores with a kick to the midsection.
Hanson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hanson scores with a jab to the head.
A lazy left from Hanson finds it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanson keeps the fight on the outside.
Machine clinches up with Hanson and pushes him back against the cage.
Machine tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hanson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Machine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hanson scores with a jab. Machine acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Machine fails in his attempt to clinch.

Machine fails with a takedown attempt.
Machine dives in and grabs Hanson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hanson pushes down on Machine's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hanson scores with a jab. Machine acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hanson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

A swing and a miss from Machine.
Machine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hanson avoids it really well and circles away.
Machine throws a leg kick but Hanson checks it.

Hanson digs a good body shot into Machine's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hanson but Hanson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Machine misses with a low kick.
Hanson thuds his right hand into Machine's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Hanson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Machine shoots for a takedown but Hanson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Machine is breathing heavily.
Hanson misses with a straight right.
Hanson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Machine had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Nice shot by Hanson.
BOOM! Hanson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Machine. Machine tries to recover but Hanson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Machine lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
