Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sven Dufva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: On To The Next One. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee thuds a left hand into Dufva's body.
Some bone on bone action there as Dufva checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dufva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dufva tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.

Dufva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Dufva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dufva looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lee wants to stand but Dufva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dufva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dufva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dufva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Sven Dufva will probably get the nod.

Lee fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee checks the leg kick nicely there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dufva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dufva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dufva throws an elbow that misses. Lee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dufva's guard. Nice move by Lee!

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dufva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Dufva's legs - danger averted.
Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
