The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slinga throws a chopping leg kick but Thai manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Thai has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Slinga.
Slinga lands with a slapping head kick.
Gun Slinga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thai on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Slinga avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Thai loads up on a big right hand but Slinga slips the punch.
Slinga connects with a crisp jab.

Slinga scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Slinga tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thai was well out of range. Poor timing from Slinga.
Thai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That has opened up Muay Thai's cut even more.

Slinga misses with a body kick.
Slinga lands a nice leg kick that just misses Thai's sensitive parts.
Thai takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slinga misses with a low kick.

A short uppercut from Slinga.
Slinga lands a hook that snaps the head of Thai backwards.
The cut above Muay Thai's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Slinga keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Thai's efforts to push away.
Slinga swings wildly with an uppercut but Thai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slinga scores with a nice hook to the head.
Slinga misses with a punch on the inside.
Thai is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slinga gets through Thai's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Muay Thai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Slinga swings wildly with an uppercut but Thai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slinga goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Slinga has Thai pressed against the cage.
Slinga blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slinga works on Thai's body with a couple of short punches.
Slinga lands a left hand that snaps the head of Thai backwards.
A left hand lands to the body for Slinga.
Slinga lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Thai.

Thai prevents a body shot from Slinga.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Slinga creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Slinga lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Slinga lands with a left to the head.
Slinga tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Thai's elbow.
Slinga works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
