Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shymyr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Simans.

Simans connects with an inside leg kick.
Shymyr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shymyr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shymyr punishes Simans's body with a nice straight punch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Shymyr enables Simans to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shymyr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Simans won't allow Shymyr to get back to his feet.

Shymyr told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Shymyr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Simans! Shymyr is hurt baaadly! Simans is firing away with more strikes - Shymyr is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
