PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shia LaBeouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaBeouf comes into the arena with Kyoto blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaBeouf lands with a shot to the body.
LaBeouf sizes up Morrison with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

LaBeouf throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morrison tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. LaBeouf is in Morrison's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

LaBeouf uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

LaBeouf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Morrison throws a nice looking combination but LaBeouf bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

LaBeouf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morrison is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but LaBeouf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Morrison parries the strikes from LaBeouf easily there. LaBeouf is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Morrison to escape.

Morrison explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Morrison gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and LaBeouf counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

LaBeouf lands with a nice combination. Morrison backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Tommy Morrison has been cut.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
LaBeouf lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morrison circles away quickly and effectively.

LaBeouf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Morrison jumps guard but LaBeouf stands there with Morrison around his waist. Morrison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

LaBeouf is trying to drag Morrison to the mat but Morrison just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

LaBeouf tries to break the clinch but Morrison is controlling the position.
Morrison can't find room to land a body shot as LaBeouf controls the action.
Morrison misses with a hook to the ribs.
Morrison lands with a short shot to the head.
LaBeouf goes for a takedown attempt but Morrison pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Morrison walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Morrison darts in looking for a takedown but LaBeouf gets double underhooks and turns Morrison into the cage.
LaBeouf blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Morrison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
LaBeouf feints a jab promting Morrison to slip. LaBeouf then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morrison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
LaBeouf lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

LaBeouf closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morrison quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

LaBeouf lands a huge takedown. Morrison is out but the ref is slow to react and LaBeouf lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Morrison lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
