Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Rozemblit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rozemblit might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pain. Duran has chosen Seven devils - Florence as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Rozemblit throws a low kick but Duran avoids it.

We've been informed that Duran has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rozemblit lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Duran uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rozemblit has time to react.

and Rozemblit makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Duran really felt that one!

Duran got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rozemblit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duran has managed to get both his arms back between Rozemblit's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duran is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rozemblit has his foot on Duran's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duran works his way back into a safe position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jose Rozemblit will probably get the nod.
