The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cota shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lennox counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cota's guard now.
Lennox postures up and lands a big shot to Cota's brow.
Lennox engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cota working for a triangle but Lennox defends it easily.
Lennox preventing the sweep.
Cota seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Cota wants to sweep here but Lennox controlling him for the moment.
Lennox tries to free his leg and advance position but Cota is retaining full guard.

Lennox leaves Cota with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Donk. Lennox catches Cota right on the button with a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lennox lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cota backwards.

Lennox is pressed up against the cage. Cota has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lennox down to the mat. Lennox avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Cota enables Lennox to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cota manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lennox postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lennox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Cota won't allow Lennox to pass to mount.
Cota has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lennox is working away from the top position though.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ray Lennox wasn't doing enough on the ground.

and Cota counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Cota shoots in looking for a takedown but Lennox manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cota's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lennox rushes Cota and presses him up against the cage.

Cota throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lennox blocks it with crossed arms.

Lennox will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cota up against the cage.

Ray Lennox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lennox is thwarting Cota's attempts to control the position.
Cota is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lennox seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cota for as long as he can get away with.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ray Lennox has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cota goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lennox turns into him and now he's in Cota's guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
Ray Lennox showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lennox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
