Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chicharito Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Chicharito Souza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pablos looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pablos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pablos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pablos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've been hearing good reports from Souza's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pablos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Souza cracks Pablos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Pablos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Souza shoots in and bounces Pablos off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Souza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pablos thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pablos throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Pablos lands a decent shot there.
Souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Souza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pablos's guard.

Pablos tries to roll over but Souza keeps him under control.
Souza is trying to work for a kimura but Pablos is defending well.
Pablos tries to get to full guard but Souza has control of the leg.

Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pablos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.
Souza is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pablos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chicharito Souza will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Souza scores with a three punch combo!
Souza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Souza gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pablos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Souza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pablos has managed to get both his arms back between Souza's legs - danger averted.
Souza can't keep his opponent in guard - Pablos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Pablos is trying to control the action in half guard but Souza is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Pablos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Souza could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pablos has cracked it and Souza is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pablos!
