The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalit cracks Takaku with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Takaku swings wildly with an uppercut but Dalit uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dalit seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Takaku looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dalit is fending him off so far but Takaku persists. Nope, Dalit circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been told by Dalit's head coaches at The Pit that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dalit throws a series of punches but Takaku moves out of range.
Dalit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takaku moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takaku uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dalit.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takaku is defended easily by Dalit.
Dexter Dalit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daisuke Takaku.

Dalit cracks Takaku on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Takaku falls backwards against the cage. Dalit follows up with more strikes that drop Takaku to his knees. Dalit keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Takaku! This one is all over!
