Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Korczewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Better (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Better has chosen Mother by Danzig as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamil Korczewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Better!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Better decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Better tries to pass the half guard into mount. Korczewski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korczewski wants to get back to his feet.

Better is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Better tries to pass to full mount but Korczewski defends it.

Korczewski is defending against the submission attempts here by Better.

Korczewski has one foot on Better's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Korczewski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Korczewski is looking to clinch.

Better scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Better tries to advance to mount but Korczewski denies him.

Better has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Korczewski tries to clinch up but Better circles away and keeps his distance.

Better is trying hard to land a takedown here. Korczewski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Korczewski leaves Better with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Better looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Better avoids a kick to the body.
Korczewski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Korczewski wants it to stay on the feet.
Kamil Korczewski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Better.
Better finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Korczewski misses with a few strikes there.
Better fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Korczewski avoids it really well and circles away.
Kamil Korczewski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Korczewski throws a nice looking combination but Better bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Better tries for a takedown but Korczewski circles away easily
and Korczewski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Better tries to close the distance and clinch but Korczewski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Better swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Better shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Korczewski as he jumps to the side.
A left and a right from Korczewski both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Evan Better has been cut.
Korczewski tries to clinch up but Better circles away and keeps his distance.
Korczewski looks to land a combination but Better avoids it well.

Better is looking to clinch but Korczewski is avoiding it.
Korczewski misses with the combination.
Evan Better seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Korczewski lands a left and a right that send Better crashing to the mat, dazed. Korczewski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Better is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Korczewski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Better is still on wobbly legs! Can Korczewski finish him?
Better lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Better seems to have recovered his senses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Better.

Better darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Better misses with a head shot. Korczewski uses the momentum to regain guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kamil Korczewski dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Evan Better's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Better goes for a double leg but Korczewski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Korczewski continues to drive forward.

Better has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Korczewski regains guard immediately.
Better wants to stand but Korczewski has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Better trying to control but Korczewski is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Better has gone for a leg lock! Korczewski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Better's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Korczewski stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Better scores with a takedown into Korczewski's guard.
Better prevents Korczewski from getting back to his feet.

Better drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Korczewski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Better has Korczewski in his guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Korczewski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Korczewski stands and steps away. Better gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Better looks for a takedown but Korczewski sprawls well.
Korczewski circles away from the clinch attempt

and Korczewski counters with a crisp one two that drops Better! Korczewski thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Better to his feet! Better is in big trouble!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Better looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Better is breathing heavily.

Better shoots in and drives through. Korczewski sprawls well.
Korczewski throws a head kick but Better moves out of range.
Better shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Korczewski pinned against the cage. Korczewski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Korczewski Rushes Better and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Better is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Korczewski Piles on the pressure and Better crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamil Korczewski!
After the fight, Kamil Korczewski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
