Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sharky Shark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddy Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Robinson with that takedown attempt.
Shark misses with a head kick.
Shark throws a head kick but Robinson moves out of range.
Robinson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shark defends it nicely.
Sharky Shark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shark pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robinson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Shark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shark pinned against the cage. Shark gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sharky Shark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Robinson.
Shark misses with a head kick.
Shark defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Robinson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt.
Shark cracks the inside of Robinson's front leg.
Robinson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Shark throws a sloppy head kick
and Shark takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shark, right into the meat.
Shark throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Robinson's head.
Shark scores with a kick to the body.
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt.

and Robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Shark didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Robinson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Robinson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Robinson won't allow Shark to sweep him here.
Robinson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Robinson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shark tries to get out of the position.

Robinson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Robinson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Robinson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Robinson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shark's head.
Robinson stands up over Shark, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Robinson throws a big right hand that misses.

Robinson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Robinson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shark controls Robinson momentarily but Robinson frees himself.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Robinson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Robinson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shark is trying to escape and Robinson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shark is forced to tap! Nice work there by Robinson! Very nice indeed!
