Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Grecko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linhares comes into the arena with Los Sicarios, Sokol, Koras - A veces blaring out of the sound system. Hector Linhares could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tony Grecko's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linhares misses with a wild body shot.
Grecko lands a leg kick that knocks Linhares off balance momentarily.
Linhares thuds his right hand into Grecko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Linhares counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Grecko attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Grecko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Grecko walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Linhares checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Linhares throws a front kick aimed at Grecko's knee but Grecko avoids it well.
Grecko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Linhares's head backwards.

Linhares stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Grecko.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Linhares lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grecko has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grecko and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Linhares shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grecko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grecko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Linhares had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grecko defends it easily.

Linhares has his foot on Grecko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grecko works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Linhares is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Grecko is trying to drag Linhares to the mat but Linhares just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Grecko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Grecko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Tony Grecko seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Grecko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Linhares is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hector Linhares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Grecko.

and Linhares counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Grecko is lucky that one didn't land flush.
