Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Hovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hovi comes to the cage accompanied by Die for Metal. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tarmo Hovi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Allen!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hovi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Allen throws a low kick but Hovi moves out of range easily.
Allen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Allen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hovi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allen manages to get himself to full guard.

Hovi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Allen is trying to stick to Hovi's back but Hovi is turning into Allen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Allen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hovi.

Allen connects with a leg kick. Hovi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Barry Allen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Tarmo Hovi will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tarmo Hovi.
