Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yehia Kamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Your as Cold as Ice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tony Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yehia Kamel!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kamel connects with an inside leg kick.
Kamel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kamel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Frost. That did some damage!
Kamel slips a jab from Frost.
Kamel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Frost has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kamel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kamel tries for a takedown but Frost sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kamel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frost throws out the jab.
Kamel lands with a cross.
No luck for Kamel with that takedown attempt.
Kamel throws a sloppy head kick and Frost moves out of range easily.
A jab from Frost misses.
Kamel shoots in but no luck this time.
Tony Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yehia Kamel.

Frost takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kamel avoids the head kick by Frost.
An inside leg kick lands from Kamel.
Kamel throws a front kick aimed at Frost's knee but Frost avoids it well.
Kamel throws a good cross that connects.
Kamel lands a really nice looking cross but Frost seems unphased.
Kamel takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kamel misses with a head kick.
Kamel connects with an inside leg kick.
Kamel throws a head kick but Frost moves out of range.
Kamel misses with a straight left.
Frost takes a swing at Kamel's ribcage but misses.

Kamel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Frost misses with a head kick.
Frost ducks under a wild hook from Kamel.
Kamel thows a body shot but no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kamel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kamel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Frost throws a leg kick which misses Kamel's front leg but catches the back leg as Kamel tries to avoid it.

Kamel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Frost.
Frost works the jab nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kamel can pounce on him.
Frost on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Frost throws a body punch but Kamel moves out of range.
Kamel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frost moves away.
Kamel lands with a nice body kick.
Frost takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kamel throws a leg kick which misses Frost's front leg but catches the back leg as Frost tries to avoid it.
Frost throws a low kick, looking for Kamel's leg but Kamel calmly moves out of range.
Frost throws a nice looking combination but Kamel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Frost gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kamel to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kamel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kamel throws a big right hand that misses.
Frost is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kamel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Frost working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kamel.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kamel trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yehia Kamel dominated that round.
That's time! Frost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kamel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Frost walks into a left hand.
Yehia Kamel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frost.
Kamel misses with a low kick.

Kamel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kamel lands in his opponent's guard.
Kamel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kamel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Frost looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Kamel throws a strike but Frost rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kamel is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Frost rolls with it to try and escape but Kamel cranks on the arm and Frost is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yehia Kamel!
During a confident post fight interview, Yehia Kamel thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
