The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Liddel throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Liddel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liddel tests Hu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hu swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Liddel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hu misses with a kick to the body.
Hu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Liddel.
Liddel misses with a body shot.
No joy there for Liddel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hu avoids the head kick by Liddel.
Liddel missing with a left hand there. Hu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Liddel misses with a wild combination.
Liddel looks to throw the jab but Hu is out of range.
Hu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hu takes one on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A clash of legs there as Liddel blocks the low kick.
Hu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Good work by Liddel as he checks the leg kick.
Hu throws out a leg kick but Liddel moves out of range and Hu only half commits.
Liddel scores with the left hand. Hu knows he should have avoided that one.
Hu is rocked!
Hu misses with a body kick.
Hu is still on wobbly legs! Can Liddel finish him?
Liddel lands a nice shot to the body.
Liddel sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hu's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hu's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chuck Liddel!
