Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's entrance music is Trapt - Headstrong. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Brandon!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.
Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brandon.

Brandon clinches with his opponent.
Johnson tries to circle away but Brandon has him pinned against the cage.
Johnson wants to break free but Brandon has control.

Brandon has Johnson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brandon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johnson tumbling to the mat - Brandon dives into Johnson's guard.
Johnson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Brandon is pushing down on Johnson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johnson is fighting to maintain full guard but Brandon has managed to sneak the leg through.

Brandon seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt.
Brandon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head.
Brandon has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at BLACKSMITH GYM - THE 25 Coach Las Vegas Mega-Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Brandon trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away.
Brandon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brandon wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Brandon.

Brandon is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Brandon shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Brandon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dwayne Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brandon circles away from the clinch attempt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Johnson.
Johnson leaves Brandon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dwayne Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Brandon.
Brandon dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Brandon's head and hops out.
Brandon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brandon somewhat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson clobbers Brandon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brandon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brandon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brandon.
Brandon goes for a double leg but Johnson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Johnson continues to drive forward.
Brandon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Come on Johnson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Brandon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Brandon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson lands with a nice body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brandon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Brandon looks winded!
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Brandon shoots in but no luck this time.
Brandon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brandon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Kenny Brandon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson lands a left and a right that send Brandon crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Brandon is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson throws a head kick but Brandon moves out of range.

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Brandon tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Brandon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Brandon is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Johnson throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Brandon crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dwayne Johnson!
