Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Kessler!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar moves out of range as Kessler throws a body kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Escobar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Escobar lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kessler lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Escobar or not.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Come on Escobar - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Escobar trying to stall but Kessler improves his position.
Kessler wants to stall.

Kessler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've been told by Escobar's head coaches at Furia Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Escobar cracks Kessler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Escobar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kessler, pushing him back against the cage.
Kessler struggles to land a body shot inside as Escobar controls his hands.
Kessler blocks an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Escobar tries to throw a body punch but Kessler avoids it by throwing Escobar back against the cage.
Kessler is looking for a takedown.
Escobar wants to stall.
Escobar lands a right hand.
Escobar lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Kessler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kessler. Escobar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kessler throws a hook but Escobar blocks it.
Kessler lands a nice shot to the body.
Kessler thuds his shin into the meat of Escobar's side.
Escobar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kessler lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Escobar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Escobar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kessler throws the kick towards the body but Escobar avoids it.
Kessler throws a leg kick
and Escobar counters with a straight right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kessler avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kessler tries a low kick but Escobar avoids it.
Escobar avoids a kick to the body.
Kessler throws a body punch but Escobar moves out of range.
Good work by Escobar as he checks the leg kick.
Escobar just misses with a punch to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kessler fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Escobar on the side of the head.

A clash of legs there as Escobar blocks the low kick.
Kessler tries to land a front kick but Escobar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jack Kessler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kessler lands a head kick. Escobar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kessler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Escobar counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Kessler takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Escobar avoids a kick to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kessler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Escobar tries to land a front kick but Kessler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kessler is rocked!
Kessler throws the left hand but Escobar avoids the punch easily.
Kessler is still on wobbly legs! Can Escobar finish him?
Escobar drops Kessler with a straight right hand, right on the button! Escobar follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Escobar!
A relieved looking Pablo Escobar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
